As reported in the press, nuclear related sanctions imposed by UN, US and EU to enter Iran’s market are in the process of being lifted. This represents a significant opportunity towards the opening of a brand new and promising market for SAP.
In order to prepare for the Iran Market entry upon removal of all sanctions, we need entrepreneurs who can bring SAP knowledge and culture to the local Iranian market. Senior Account Executive, SAP Iran

The Senior Account Executive (AE) identifies, qualifies and sells SAP Software, Services and Education to customers and prospects, while maintaining successful relationships with clients beyond the initial software sale. The evolving software solutions market place requires a Senior AE who can challenge the strategy and buying cycle of the customer and present a credible level of technology expertise. The Senior AE for Iran will directly interact with customers and prospects to position the value of SAP’s Solutions, as supported by ROI, business case development, references, and supporting analyst data. This role will assemble, prepare, and manage the Virtual Account Team consisting of Solution Consultants, Customer Engagement Managers, Strategic Partners and other relevant roles so that SAP’s solutions are well positioned in the account.
Ideally you have more than six years’ experience in enterprise application software sales and a demonstrated history of achieving large revenue targets in your software, services and/or education accounts. You have a strong technical background gained in I.T consulting, pre-sales or development. Expert knowledge of a diverse, cross-industry set of SAP’s solutions is a prerequisite; preferably with experience of, and insight into the Oil & Gas, Discrete and/or Financial Services industry in Iran. You are a highly motivated, entrepreneurial individual and have the ability to create networks quickly within a complex organization. Must be a sales professional with an ethical approach and strong personal values. You have insight into the business culture in Iran and are proficient in Farsi and English.
Being first based out of Dubai, the role will then relocate to an office to be established in Iran after the full embargo lift.
