Key Account Manager, Iran

  • Ensure timely submission of reimbursement files and follow-up to ensure all actions are taken to facilitate and speed-up the approval process
  • Ensure timely submission of pricing and reimbursement dossiers to the competent Authorities and ensure a strict follow-up to obtain approvals
  • Ensure the timely input concerning the impact of new pricing and reimbursement legislation and other relevant information to the business
  • Identify challenges and barriers for patients and physicians to access Roche drug therapies and delegate key-messages on access to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and enhance optimal relationships with Regulators and policy makers of the therapeutic areas; leverage this network for the access purposes.
  • Collaboration to localize group strategies and policies relating to funding, health economics and pricing
  • Ensure the implementation of the products’ economic value strategy in strict collaboration with the business units
  • Ensure input to business case assessments and business plans related with pricing and reimbursement
  • Builds and maintains a network of contacts and relationships of relevance to Roche’s interests
  • Ensures the implementation of public policy and communication plans to convey the messages of Roche products to the right stakeholders

    • Degree in Pharmacy or Business with experience in Pharmaceutical Industry preferred
    • Master’s degree or MBA would be an asset

    Experience and Knowledge

    • At least 3 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical field of which minimum 2 years’ sales experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or related industry
    • Proven track record in business success and demonstrated leadership competencies.
    • Experience in developing and directing the implementation of strategic business and account management plans within the pharmaceutical distribution channel
    • Strong grasp/understanding of products and the surrounding marketplace
    • Previous account management or other managed care experience is a plus

    Skills and Competencies

    • Ability and commitment to operate in a highly regulated environment and industry, which requires understanding of the imperative for compliance with company policies, procedures and other relevant internal or external laws, regulations and the like
    • Strong ability to work under and abide by complex policies and procedures under minimal supervision
    • Outstanding influencing, negotiation & presentation skills; demonstrable through considerable achievements in key accounts of responsibility
    • Excellent communication skills, team working, conceptual and analytical thinking, ability to build relation and working in competitive environment.
    • Strong organization, time management and self-management skills
    • Strong interpersonal & partnering skills: has proven abilities to work effectively and efficiently in cross-functional, often virtual and matrix teams
    • Dynamic self -starter with high level of motivation, innovation and a bias for action
    • Excellent planning, follow-through and organising ability
    • Strong customer orientation/focus
    • Ability to travel nationally
    • Fluent written and verbal English and FArsi is desired
